City of Yorba Linda and Tripepi Smith received the Award of Merit in Communications Initiative and Outreach from the American Planning Association (APA) California Chapter Orange Section.
In August 2025, the California Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA) presented Tripepi Smith client, the City of Yorba Linda, with the Award of Excellence in Communications Initiative and Outreach for the City’s 2021–29 Housing Element Community Outreach project.
In 2022, Measure Z, a proposal to approve zoning changes for the City’s Housing Element, failed with only 25% support.
