Tripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith, Director Michael Egan and Senior Business Analyst Dana Sovinec are headed to Sacramento for the 2025 Cal Cities City Leaders Summit from April 23-25, 2025.
Hosted annually, the Summit brings together local government leaders from across California to advocate for city priorities, influence state policy and engage directly with legislators. The event offers valuable insights into emerging legislation, promotes relationship-building and supports professional development through leadership-focused sessions.
“The City Leaders Summit is always one I look forward to,” said Ryder Todd Smith. “There’s real value in putting state legislators and local government leaders in the same room, and it’s inspiring to see both sides engage thoughtfully and work toward solutions that move California’s communities forward.”
Ryder will also moderate a featured session, “Earning Public Trust: Practical Strategies for Transparent and Effective Leadership,” on Friday, April 25 from 8:45–10:00 a.m. The panel will spotlight elected leaders and public servants who have successfully navigated challenges that either tested or rebuilt trust within their communities.
