Bellflower logoThe City of Bellflower enlisted Tripepi Smith’s video production services to record, livestream and distribute its BRAVO Awards Ceremony–an event that has been covered by the Tripepi Smith team since 2017.

Standing for “Bellflower Recognizes Acts of Valor and Outstanding Service,” the City’s annual BRAVO Awards showcase acts of valor and outstanding service in the community, honoring the efforts of Bellflower public safety officers, fire personnel and local community leaders. The event’s comeback post-COVID prompted the City to change the venue, style, and presentation layout. Tripepi Smith’s return also featured an increase in production quality from a few different aspects since they started recording the event in 2017.

Led by Tripepi Smith Business Analyst Nolan Voge with support from Business Analyst Josh Hernandez and Junior Business Analyst Ethan de la Peña, the team managed all aspects of audio, live streaming and camera operations during the event, and refined a version for distribution to residents and award winners. The team’s expertise in live video production grows throughout the years with additional camera feeds, wireless roaming cameras, and different live streaming platforms like Facebook.

“Tripepi Smith did what they always do: showed up on time, worked efficiently and generated impressive results,” said Bellflower City Manager Ryan Smoot. “This beloved community event serves as a special occasion to recognize and thank our community heroes. We are grateful to have live-streamed and distributed the event for folks to enjoy for years to come.”

“This year’s BRAVO Awards allowed our team to showcase our audio/visual skillset to the fullest,” said Business Analyst Josh Hernandez. “The ceremony serves as a time for deserving individuals to be recognized for their impact on the lives of Bellflower residents and business, and we are proud to have been part of this special event.”
