Team Tripepi Smith is fired up to attend this year’s Municipal Management Association of Northern California (MMANC) Annual Conference in Monterey from October 14–17. Representing the firm are President Ryder Todd Smith, Principal Jennifer Nentwig, Senior Business Analysts Kalee Cummings and Melanie Moore and Business Analysts Morgan Mock and Amy Gallagher.

“Attending the MMANC Annual Conference is a beloved, annual tradition here at Tripepi Smith,” said Ryder. “Having conversations and forging relationships allows us all to leave informed on trending topics, emerging challenges and innovative solutions that we can bring to our communities.”

Tripepi Smith is proud to serve as the official Wi-Fi sponsor for this year’s event, ensuring attendees stay connected throughout the week. The firm will also offer free professional headshots to all attendees on Wednesday, October 15 from 10:30 a.m.–12 p.m., and Thursday, October 16 from 2:30–4 p.m.

This year’s conference theme, Illumination, centers on four key tracks: future-focused innovation, building resilience, fostering collaboration and exploring niche topics.

Don’t miss Ryder’s session, “Shining a Light on City Finances: Bringing Your Community Along for the Budget Ride,” on Thursday, October 16 from 1:10–2 p.m. alongside City Manager Bret Prebula, of Suisun City, and Assistant City Managers Juan Gomez and Liz Habkirk, of American Canyon and Napa. Panelists will share practical strategies for simplifying complex financial concepts, aligning messaging with community values and navigating communication during times of fiscal stress.

We’re looking forward to a dynamic week of learning, networking and supporting the professionals who keep local government moving forward.
