On Saturday, October 17, Mike will moderate a panel entitled “Building Trust in a Remote World: Managing People, Performance and Culture from Anywhere.” Mike will lead a conversation with California Joint Powers Insurance Authority Chief Administrative Officer Nikki Salas and City of Rancho Cucamonga Deputy City Manager Peter Castro. The presentation and audience Q&A session will explore the evolving dynamics of remote and hybrid workforce management across the public and private sectors. Drawing on lessons from agency leadership and Tripepi Smith’s experience operating as a fully remote company since 2012, attendees will walk away with actionable strategies for managing performance, building organizational culture and maintaining team alignment without relying solely on in-person interaction.
