Tripepi Smith has renewed its partnership with the League of California Cities (Cal Cities) for 2026 at the Principal Partner Level. Through the partner program, organizations can support the work of cities while engaging in educational activities, policymaking, conferences, regional meetings and networking events. Tripepi Smith has sponsored Cal Cities for over a decade.
“We value Tripepi Smith’s commitment to understanding the challenges and opportunities facing California’s cities,” said Cal Cities Deputy Executive Director Jennifer Whiting. “Their continued involvement in the Cal Cities Partner Program contributes to our ability to serve and advocate for local governments throughout the state.”
Since its founding in 1898, Cal Cities has advocated for local control through legislative action, ballot initiatives, court cases and strategic public outreach. The association provides current education and training programs for city officials and facilitates solutions to common municipal challenges.
“We are pleased to renew our partnership with Cal Cities and support its work for another year,” said Tripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith. “Cal Cities plays a critical role in advocating for and supporting cities across California, and we are proud to stand alongside an organization that champions effective, responsive local government.”
As a Principal Partner, Tripepi Smith supports annual Cal Cities events, including the City Managers Conference. This February, President Ryder Todd Smith, CFO Nicole Smith, Principals Katherine Griffiths, APR, Jennifer Nentwig, APR and Jennifer Vaughn, APR and Directors Alexis Brown-Gillam, Mike Egan, Christine Martin and Mark Pulone will attend the conference in Napa.
About Cal Cities
Cal Cities has been shaping the Golden State’s political landscape since the association was founded in 1898. We defend and expand local control through advocacy efforts in the Legislature, at the ballot box, in the courts, and through strategic outreach that informs and educates the public, policymakers, and opinion leaders. Cal Cities also offers education and training programs designed to teach city officials about new developments in their field and exchange solutions to common challenges facing their cities.
