For the fourth consecutive year, the City of Lomita partnered with Tripepi Smith to produce its Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) — a comprehensive annual analysis that details the quality and safety of the City’s drinking water.

“Being a city that maintains and operates a water utility, it is imperative that Lomita clearly and effectively deliver important information about our water quality to our residents,” said Lomita City Manager Andrew Vialpando. “Tripepi Smith has been an excellent partner in helping us communicate complex information in a way that is high quality, accessible and engaging.”

Led by Junior Graphic Designer Jessa Laboissonniere, with support from Director Sara Madsen, Business Analyst Devin Antonio and Junior Business Analyst Emma Totaro, the Tripepi Smith team drafted fresh content, promoted the report to the community and completely redesigned the document. The Tripepi Smith team not only drafted new content for the report and managed communications to promote it to the community, but they also completely redesigned the document. The new design presents technical information in a clear and easy-to-navigate format, enhanced by engaging graphics and relevant imagery to improve comprehension.

The 14-page report features water quality test results, conservation tips and educational resources. It also highlights major infrastructure initiatives, including the Cypress Water Production Facility project, the Zone G Water Main Replacement Project and the Narbonne Avenue Water Replacement and Street Rehabilitation Project – all part of the City’s ongoing mission to keep residents informed and involved in local water resource management.

“Our team is proud to support Lomita in making water quality information more accessible and meaningful to residents year after year,” said Sara. “By transforming technical data into a visually engaging and easy-to-understand document, we’re helping the City build trust and encourage conservation.”
