Tripepi Smith is heading to the Sunshine State for this year’s International City/County Management Association’s (ICMA) Annual Conference, taking place October 25–29 in Tampa, Florida. This year, President Ryder Todd Smith, Chief Financial Officer Nicole Smith and Principal Jennifer Vaughn will represent the firm at the conference of local government professionals from around the world.
On Tuesday, October 28, Ryder will moderate a panel of local government leaders for the session, “Partners in Local Governance: Strength, Continuity, Leadership and Trust in Modern Local Government.” He will lead a conversation with Santa Barbara Assistant City Administrator Pamela W. Antil, Los Altos Hills City Manager Peter Pirnejad and Lakewood City Manager Thaddeus McCormack.
In addition, Ryder will meet with the Managers in Transition (MIT) group on Sunday, October 26. The MIT Program supports local government managers who have been involuntarily separated from their positions by offering personal and professional assistance — including financial support, career resources, networking opportunities and access to services such as online reputation management and senior advisor guidance. Through this initiative, ICMA helps members navigate career transitions while staying connected to a supportive professional community.
“ICMA continues to set the standard for professional development in local government with an incredible agenda of sessions and networking opportunities,” said Ryder. “Tripepi Smith is honored to contribute to this year’s program and share insights on the foundational elements that build trust and effectiveness in modern governance, especially the power of strong partnerships. These concepts align well with Tripepi Smith’s vision.”
The ICMA Annual Conference brings together thousands of city, town and county leaders for several days of networking and learning. This year’s agenda features a broad range of topics, including leadership and innovation, community engagement, crisis readiness and equity in service delivery. Attendees will leave with fresh perspectives and practical tools to better serve their communities.
Tripepi Smith has proudly partnered with ICMA since 2019, providing reputation management services to its members, helping government professionals amplify their leadership and enhance their visibility across digital platforms.
