“The CSDA Annual Conference is always a valuable opportunity to connect with special district leaders from across California, share ideas and learn from one another,” said Jennifer. “We’re looking forward to meaningful conversations throughout the week and supporting districts as they navigate both today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.”
As part of the conference program, Christine will present “Unlocking Your Agency’s Future: Succession Planning Through Talent Development” alongside Tahoe-Truckee Sanitation Agency General Manager Jason Hays and Tahoe City Public Utility District General Manager Sean Barclay on August 26. The session will explore strategies for identifying critical roles, developing internal career pathways and positioning agencies as employers of choice. Attendees will gain insights into preserving institutional knowledge and preparing future leaders to ensure smooth transitions when staffing changes occur.
