Tripepi Smith is heading to the 2026 Independent Cities Association (ICA) Summer Seminar, taking place July 9–12 in Coronado. President Ryder Todd Smith and Senior Business Analyst Sienna Boyd will represent the firm at this year’s event, which will bring together city leaders from across Southern California to address timely issues in local governance.
Ryder and Sienna’s session, “From Confusing to Clarity: Conducting Effective, Compliant Ballot Measure Outreach,” on Friday, July 10, will share practical approaches to ballot measure outreach, including fact-based content development, community engagement and multi-channel communication strategy. Attendees will have the skills and steps needed to strengthen educational outreach efforts and increase the odds of passing important ballot measures.
“ICA continues to create meaningful opportunities for city leaders to connect, collaborate and learn from one another,” said Ryder. “Our session is designed to give attendees practical tools for developing fact-based ballot measure outreach, engaging their communities and expanding access to accurate information that helps residents make informed decisions.”
As a top-tier Ultimate Sponsor, Tripepi Smith supports ICA through strategic communications services and an ongoing partnership. This support underscores the firm’s commitment to the nearly 40 member cities within the ICA network. Most recently, Tripepi Smith led a website migration and hosting project that modernized ICA’s digital infrastructure and strengthened its ability to connect with and serve its member cities.
