President Ryder Todd Smith will join other local government leaders at the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) 2026 Regional Conference and General Assembly from May 7–8 in Palm Desert.
The event will bring together hundreds of elected officials, city managers and public agency staff from across SCAG’s six-county region to address pressing challenges facing Southern California and engage in collaborative decision-making that will help define California’s future.
“Southern California is a dynamic region where local leaders constantly innovate to meet their residents’ needs,” said Ryder. “SCAG provides an essential collaboration platform for regional matters. I look forward to hearing about the latest initiatives and exploring how our firm can continue to help agencies translate complex policy goals into effective community understanding.”
