As part of the new fiscal year cycle, the City of Palmdale tapped Tripepi Smith for the second consecutive year to create its Budget at a Glance — a concise, accessible summary of the City’s Fiscal Year 2025-26 budget. The 10-page publication outlines key initiatives, funding sources and capital investment priorities, all through a visually engaging and community-friendly lens.

Junior Graphic Designer Alexis Mendez led the design using Palmdale’s brand elements and key data points. He worked with Creative Director Kevin Bostwick, who provided design direction, while Business Analyst Abby Romano and Junior Business Analyst Hannah Wedepohl led content development and project management. Director Melanie James provided overall leadership and guidance throughout the project.

“The City of Palmdale cares deeply about fiscal transparency and community engagement,” said Abby. “This project is just one way they make budget information more accessible. We paired the statistics and priorities with bold imagery of Palmdale’s programs and events along with digestible charts to simplify the facts.”

Tripepi Smith has supported the City of Palmdale since November 2023. The firm has also created Budget at a Glance materials for other California cities, including Cupertino, Indian Wells and Paramount.
