Tripepi Smith is proud to welcome Lissette Santiago as its newest Senior Business Analyst. An award-winning strategist, Lissette brings more than a decade of experience in communications, media relations and storytelling across sectors including renewable energy, education, hospitality, public health and nonprofits.
Before joining Tripepi Smith, Lissette served as Senior Media Strategist at a boutique agency serving public and private sector clients throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Her portfolio includes an Emmy-nominated short documentary and a self-produced film exploring wheelchair accessibility in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Lissette also served as the Public Information Officer and Community Engagement Manager for Coachella Valley Unified School District, where she led crisis communications, brand development and strategic partnerships for a district spanning two counties and several cities. Her bilingual campaigns achieved record-breaking enrollment and social media engagement, outperforming even Los Angeles Unified School District in reach and interaction.
Lissette’s emergency communications training through the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services and her leadership in high-stake situations, from pandemic response to school safety, further strengthen her ability to support public agency clients.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Redlands and a Master of Liberal Arts in Journalism from Harvard Extension School.
