Principal Jennifer Vaughn, APR, will join fire and emergency services leaders from across Texas at the SAFE-D Annual Conference, taking place January 29–31 in San Antonio, Texas. Hosted by the Texas State Association of Fire and Emergency Districts (SAFE-D), the annual conference is one of the state’s leading educational and networking events for Emergency Services District (ESD) officials, service providers and industry partners.
The three-day conference offers training, workshops and certification opportunities tailored to support ESD commissioners and district leadership. Attendees will participate in sessions focused on governance, budgeting, long-range planning, legal responsibilities and operational best practices — critical areas that shape the delivery of fire and EMS services across Texas communities.
“SAFE-D’s conference is an important forum for learning and collaboration,” said Jennifer. “Tripepi Smith values the opportunity to stay current on emerging issues and connect with district leaders who are working every day to strengthen emergency services in Texas. The insights gained here will help the firm better serve its partners and communities.”
Tripepi Smith continues to expand its work with fire districts and local governments across Texas, supporting agencies with communications strategy, branding, ballot measure outreach and community engagement. Attending SAFE-D allows the firm to stay closely connected to the issues facing Texas ESDs and to deepen its understanding of how districts are evolving to meet growing service demands.
About SAFE-D
The mission of the Texas State Association of Fire and Emergency Districts is to make Texans safer by supporting the men and women of emergency services districts in the state.
Emergency services districts (ESDs) are political subdivisions of the State of Texas, like a school district or a county. As Texas outgrows the abilities of cities and rural volunteer fire departments, ESDs are on the cutting edge of providing fire protection and emergency medical response to large portions of the state. Since 2001, the State Association of Fire and Emergency Districts has been the only association dedicated to bringing these local governments together so they can work smarter and work better for Texans.
