After Energy for Palmdale’s Independent Choice (EPIC) recent launch of its Power Choice and Your Ride is EPIC inaugural programs, the organization called on Tripepi Smith for a comprehensive communications outreach campaign.
“Power Choice and Your Ride is EPIC reflect our City’s commitment to providing affordable and sustainable energy resources to our residents,” said Palmdale Environmental Manager Benjamin Lucha. “Tripepi Smith’s marketing expertise and strategies helped us reach our community and further demonstrate our commitment to a more sustainable city.”
The Power Choice program, a collaboration with CalChoice Energy Authority, Participate.Energy and Tesla.Inc, allows EPIC’s residential customers and homeowners to reap the benefits from solar and battery storage without the cost of installing and owning a system, leading to energy savings and grid resiliency. The Your Ride is EPIC program offers eligible EPIC customers the chance to receive a free or significantly discounted PHEV or EV charger, encouraging the adoption of low-emission transportation.
Tripepi Smith developed articles, informational web pages, digital and print design materials and social media posts covering both initiatives. Business Analyst Charlie Mounts and Junior Business Analyst Olivia Rizzuto spearheaded these efforts, with creative and web development assistance from Junior Graphic Designer Alexis Mendez and Junior Website Developer Max Weirauch.
“The goal of this campaign was to spread awareness about these exciting programs among EPIC’s customers,” said Charlie. “The Power Choice and Your Ride is EPIC initiatives are creating a more sustainable future for Palmdale, and we are proud to have been part of furthering the City’s environmental mission.”
