Tripepi Smith recently partnered with the City of Palmdale to produce a comprehensive video series for the 2026 AV EDGE Spring Business Summit. This is the third consecutive year the agency has assisted with this project.

The ticketed event took place on Thursday, March 19, at the AV Fair & Event Center. Palmdale joined local leaders and innovators to discuss developments shaping the future of the Antelope Valley. From welcoming 800 new businesses to investing $39 million in capital improvements like the Sam Yellen Park expansion, the City’s presentation demonstrated Palmdale’s ongoing commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life through economic development investments.

To support the presentation, Tripepi Smith, in collaboration with City staff, created a series of five engaging videos totaling 16 minutes of screen time, accompanied by 14 minutes of key messages presented by City leadership.

“The video presentation perfectly captured the energy and progress we wanted to highlight for our residents and business community,” said City Manager Sal Mendez. “Tripepi Smith delivered a seamless production that truly elevated the City’s presence at the summit.”

Preparation for the large-scale project began in mid-December 2025. Director Melanie James and her team produced five video scripts, with Videographer Nolan Voge developing shot lists, curating footage, designing graphics and editing the videos. The production process also included Videographer Audrin Baghaie on voiceover. Nolan Voge and Videographers Jeremy Camp and Josh Hernandez captured the necessary b-roll and drone footage with Junior Business Analyst Ervin Velasquez assisting on additional shoots and capturing day-of event photography for social media.

“The City of Palmdale is constantly pushing the envelope with its economic development and community outreach,” said Melanie. “It was rewarding for our team to collaborate on a project of this scale and see it come to life on the big screen at AV EDGE.”
