CalCCA Annual Conference VideoThis April, the California Community Choice Association (CalCCA) hosted its annual conference in Irvine, drawing nearly 900 attendees from across the energy sector. To highlight the event’s key moments and conversations, Tripepi Smith produced a three-minute video recap capturing the energy, collaboration and expertise that defined the gathering.

“Tripepi Smith has been an invaluable partner in helping us convey the spirit and purpose behind our annual conference,” said CalCCA Chief Experience Officer Leora Broydo Vestel. “Their recap video not only showcases the scale and success of the event but also reflects the passion and collaboration that drive California’s community choice movement forward.”

This marks the third consecutive year that Tripepi Smith has partnered with CalCCA to produce the conference recap video. In addition to videography, Tripepi Smith also supported CalCCA’s conference on-site social media management, amplifying CalCCA’s reach and engagement throughout the event. The recap video was led by Director Sara Madsen, Senior Business Analyst Peter Johnson and Videographer Nolan Voge.

“Our partnership with CalCCA is rooted in a shared vision of amplifying community-choice momentum in California,” said Madsen. “This year’s recap video was crafted to bring that vision to life—capturing the scale of over 870 participants, three days of dynamic workshops and panel discussions, and the meaningful energy in the room. We’re proud to have helped CalCCA tell a story of collaboration, innovation and influence across the sector.”

Tripepi Smith was also represented by Business Analysts Kendall Lowery and Olivia Rizzuto, as well as Principal Katherine Griffiths, who moderated a panel titled “Rumor Has It: Tackling Misinformation.”

As a Megawatt conference sponsor and a Select CalCCA Partner, Tripepi Smith continues to provide communications support across California CCAs, helping agencies tell their stories and connect with the communities they serve.
