  1. YouTube has announced over 10 new lower-cost TV packages designed to attract more viewers to its paid subscription options. As YouTube continues to grow as a major entertainment platform, these topic-focused bundles offer more affordable alternatives to the $82.99-per-month YouTube TV plan.
  2. Also from YouTube is the expansion of its auto-dubbing feature to all creators, giving them new ways to reach wider audiences by translating their content. The feature supports 27 languages through YouTube’s auto-translation tools.
  3. Meta is rolling out updates to its Messenger API. Beginning in February, recurring notifications will change and follow-up messages can no longer be sent as before, helping reduce promotional overload in users’ inboxes.
  4. X’s latest update to its Community Notes feature introduces Collaborative Notes, allowing human contributors to guide and improve AI-generated Notes. Contributors can rate and respond to these AI Notes, helping ensure they stay accurate and relevant.
  5. Reddit is expanding beta testing of its Reminder Ads, now available to all brand awareness and traffic or reach campaigns. These ads include a “Remind Me” button, which sends users both a push notification and an inbox message on the day of your launch, event or announcement.
