Tripepi Smith has announced that Director Alexis Gillam will take over leadership of Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions (TSTS), the firm’s recruitment and organizational development division. Alexis steps into the position following the retirement of Director Christine Martin, who led the division through a period of significant expansion across California. In her new role, Alexis will guide executive recruitments, strategic planning and workplace culture curation for cities, special districts and public agencies statewide.
Alexis brings over 16 years of experience in and alongside public agencies, with a career spanning in city management, organizational leadership, strategic planning and communications. She has led teams and complex municipal initiatives, advised executive and elected leadership, and helped organizations navigate periods of significant growth and change, earning recognition from Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) as one of the Top 100 Local Government Influencers in the United States for 2025.

At Tripepi Smith, Alexis leads the firm’s creative media team, driving high-impact visual storytelling campaigns. She also oversees client engagements for the cities of Ojai, Indian Wells, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Pacific Grove, Bell, Victorville, Camarillo, Santa Ana and the Town of Yucca Valley.
