Talia James is a driven and detail-oriented public relations professional. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Public Relations along with departmental honors from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. As an honors student, Talia defended her thesis titled, “Restructuring DEI: Fighting Antisemitism on College Campuses”. She has experience with extensive research, critical writing and public speaking. She was a member of the PRSSA Bateman Case Study Competition Team, where she helped develop and implement a national public relations campaign for EveryLibrary, a nonprofit organization. Her team earned a top 12 honorable mention in the competition. Talia strengthened her media relations and client relations skills during her internships with Infinite Global, a public relations firm centered in the legal sector, and Eden Gallery, an international fine art gallery. During college, Talia was a D1 student-athlete and served as captain of the UO Dance Team.
Her clients include the Town of Yucca Valley, City of San Luis Obispo, City of Blythe, City of Commerce, City of Hercules, City of Baldwin Park, City of Malibu and Disneyland Resort.
