The Challenge

Erickson-Hall Construction Co was seeking a partner to modernize its website to better reflect the firm’s professionalism, brand identity and people-first culture. The company partnered with Tripepi Smith to deliver a bold, user-friendly redesign that emphasized intuitive navigation, compelling visuals and strong storytelling.

The primary goal was to transform the website into a visually engaging platform that aligned with Erickson-Hall’s established reputation and supported key functions like vendor outreach, recruitment and community engagement.

Our Approach

Tripepi Smith and Erickson-Hall Construction Co. kicked off the website redesign project with collaborative planning sessions to outline the company’s goals, establish the project timeline and discuss functionality and design trends that would improve the user experience and better reflect the Erickson-Hall brand.

From there, Tripepi Smith created a comprehensive Website Specification Document (WSD) that detailed the structure, visual direction, content priorities and technical features of the new site, followed by a full sitemap. The updated sitemap prioritized ease of access to high-traffic areas such as the Bid Center, Careers and Projects pages.

Once the structure was set, Tripepi Smith designed a clean, responsive interface aligned with Erickson-Hall’s brand standards. The design emphasized bold visuals — including video content — consistent color use and stronger storytelling elements across the site. Custom graphics, stat highlights and integrated multimedia helped bring company culture and project successes to life.

Following design approval, the site was built in WordPress. Key features included an updated bids portal, refreshed Careers section and a more dynamic news and blog feed. The website was then delivered for final review while Tripepi Smith conducted quality assurance and prepared the site for launch in January 2025.

Erickson-Hall Construction Co was thrilled with the results of their redesigned website, which launched in early 2025. The new site reflects the company’s professionalism while delivering a user-friendly experience tailored to contractors, job seekers and clients.

In just six months, the site attracted nearly 10,000 unique users and exceeded industry benchmarks with an average engagement time of 1 minute and 7 seconds. Over 53% of users arrived by organic search, highlighting strong SEO performance and visibility.

High-value pages like the Bid Center and Careers saw the strongest engagement, indicating active interest from vendors and potential hires.
