The Challenge

The Annual Member Appreciation Dinner is a signature event for the California City Management Foundation (CCMF), requiring detailed planning and coordination to accommodate a large guest list of city management professionals and sponsors. CCMF needed a trusted partner to handle each aspect of event planning — from vendor coordination and venue logistics to guest management and on-site photography — so that members and sponsors could fully enjoy the evening, focus on meaningful conversations and build lasting relationships within the local government community.

  • Captured high-quality photos during the dinner, documenting networking, sponsor engagement and highlights for future promotional use.
  • Worked closely with CCMF’s team throughout planning and execution to ensure the event exceeded CCMF’s goals.
Results

The 2025 CCMF Annual Member Appreciation Dinner was a success, hosting approximately 280 city managers and sponsors for an evening of networking, recognition and community-building. Tripepi Smith’s thorough planning and on-site support enabled guests to indulge in an evening of camaraderie and celebration. The event’s professional branding and organized execution reinforced CCMF’s role as a trusted resource for city managers across California. High-quality event photography captured during the evening is now being used across CCMF’s digital channels to showcase member appreciation efforts and promote future events, ensuring the impact of the dinner extends beyond the evening.
