T
he Challenge
The Blind Children’s Center (BCC), a pioneer in inclusive early childhood education for children who are blind or visually impaired, looked to increase enrollment and drive donations through visually compelling storytelling. The BCC wanted a series of videos that would capture the spirit of its mission and the power of its programs, bringing to life the stories that words alone can’t capture.
Our Approach
BCC partnered with Tripepi Smith to produce four videos that showcase BCC’s hands-on learning environment and invite viewers to connect with the Center on a deeper level. The Tripepi Smith team worked closely with BCC to plan and execute videos rooted in authenticity and action-driving content.
This included:
- Conducting preparation meetings to discuss vision, goals and messaging
- Drafting interview questions and voiceover scripts that provoked heartfelt responses
- Spending two full days on-site capturing day in the life footage of students, teachers, parents and alumni
- Filming 11 interviews to showcase personal stories from families, educators and supporters
- Producing a Spanish-language video, not a Spanish translation of a video produced in English
- Producing four final videos tailored to support BCC’s original goals
The Results
The resulting video series communicates the impact of BCC through storytelling that invites prospective families and potential donors to picture themselves as part of the Center’s extended family. BCC shared the videos on their YouTube channel, and as of July 2025, they collected:
- 362 total views
- 5.1 total hours of watch time
- Four total engagements
Overall, the videos provide a valuable tool for outreach and engagement with prospective families.
