The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (SJCOES) partnered with Tripepi Smith to develop a wildfire preparedness outreach campaign, ranging from a trifold brochure, full and half-page informational flyers to an animated video.
“San Joaquin County is committed to prioritizing the safety of our residents, and Tripepi Smith created educational materials that were informative, digestible and visually appealing to help us achieve this goal,” said Deputy Director of SJCOES Tiffany Cacho. “The materials outline crucial information about wildfire preparedness our community can use to stay informed and safe.”
Director Melanie James handled the graphic design elements of the project, combining striking visuals with essential information to provide a comprehensive overview of wildfire preparedness steps, evacuation procedures and emergency contact information. The animated video, created by Director Cameron Grimm, brought the numbers and information to life.
“We are grateful to have contributed to San Joaquin County’s mission of safety and preparedness through this outreach campaign,” said Melanie. “We focused on clear messaging and vibrant designs to ensure that the community not only understood the information, but felt inspired to make a change and apply these wildfire preparedness steps to their everyday lives.”
